No surprise though as the scenery is beautiful and there is so much to do! If you do get a chance to go to St. Lucia use our tipping guide to figure out when you should tip on your vacation in St. Lucia! Taxis: Tipping taxi drivers in St. Lucia is expected. You should aim to tip about 10%. Hotels: Tipping in hotels in St. Lucia is somewhat common in the high class hotels. You should aim to tip $2-3 EC to the Porter per bag and $2-3 EC to the maid per night. Restaurants: Tipping in restaurants in St. Lucia is expected. Check the bill first and make sure the 10% service charge isn’t already included. If it is then you can tip a few dollars more if the service was above and beyond.
