Tipping in Suriname isn’t common as it isn’t part of the culture. Thats okay though, one less thing to stress about when you explore Suriname’s huge natural reserves and vast jungles and beautiful flora. It is often unexplored by fellow travelers which makes it a great place to get away from the tourists. Tipping In North Korea

Tipping In North Korea isn’t a common phrase you will ever hear, that’s for sure! In fact, not many people will ever make the journey. It is possible though! As you know, North Korea isn’t known as the safest place to travel, however some people do take tours and visit the country. While it likely isn’t recommended by your countries government there are still options. The first is to go into the DMZ from South Korea. While you won’t get the full experience you will see a bit of North Korea for the day. The other option is from China and involves a multi day tour. This usually provides a great experience but it is still very strict and you must ALWAYS stick with the guides. Whatever your choice may be, tipping isn’t a concern except for your tour guides. Tipping In Malaysia

Tipping in Malaysia isn’t traditional, and is never expected. Less stress for you as Malaysia is a sight to see! Malaysia is a beautiful country with rich jungles and beautiful beaches. You could spend months there and still have so much left to do! The cities are beautiful and the mountains are amazing. Why not climb Mount Kinabalu while you are there? Sometimes service will be included on the bill, but if it isn’t then don’t feel the need to tip! However, you should still use our tipping guide to figure out when you should tip on your adventures in Malaysia.    Taxis: Tipping taxi drivers isn’t expected or required.    Hotels: Tipping in hotels isn’t expected. If a bell boy or porter was to carry your bags then 2 ringgit per bag is okay. Otherwise, no tipping is expected.    Restaurants: Most restaurants will include a 10% service charge on the bill.
