Home of the famous Panama Canal, Panama is an amazing country with some of the friendliest people in the world. If you are looking to just relax, hike or visit the beaches then Panama is the country for you! Use our guide below to figure out when you should tip and when you shouldn’t on your travels through Panama. Taxis: Tipping a taxi driver isn’t expected, though rounding up does make things easier.   Hotels: If the bell boy was to handle your baggage then you should give him about $.50 a bag. You should also aim to tip the maid $1 a night. This is in upscale hotels though, you likely won’t have a bell boy in mid range hotels.   Restaurants: In high end restaurants a tip of 10% will often be added, but expected if not. If service is included you will see the word “propina” or “servico” on the bill. Tipping has become more common on the popular cities of Czech Republic. In most cases it is expected to tip, however its not always the case. We are still in Europe so don’t expect to have to tip 15-20% every time! Use our guide below to learn where to tip and when.      Taxis: Rounding up is expected. This should equal about 5%.    Hotels: You should tip the bell boy about 20 crown.
