Tipping In China

Tipping in China is becoming more common as traveling increases. China’s economy is growing rapidly and traveling is becoming more and more common. China is home of the Great Wall and has a wide range of temples to see and visit across the country, don’t miss out on the great cities in China either, such as Beijing and Shanghai. Tipping is still new though and sometimes discouraged so use your tipping guide below to see when you should trip as you travel across China.    Taxis: Not required and could be considered insulting to some.    Hotels: In high end western hotels you may be expected to tip. This would be a few dollars a bag and few dollars a night for the maid. You should check to see if you are paying for a service charge though. In normal hotels tipping is not required or necessary.    Restaurants: In high end western restaurants you may be expected to tip. This should be about 10-15% of the total bill. Tipping in Guam is pretty common since it is a US territory. Don’t let that stop your travels though! Guam is a beautiful country with terrific landscapes and friendly people. It is great for diving and other outdoor water adventures. Tipping In Spain

Tipping in Spain isn’t a big part of the Spanish culture but it does exist. Spain is home of delicious tapas and Barcelona is home of great beaches. The people are friendly and the views are amazing. It really is a country for any type of traveler and a place everyone should see. Use our tipping guide below when traveling through Spain and figure out when you should tip on your adventure!    Taxis: You don’t have to tip Taxi drivers, however it is a nice gesture to round up the total fare.    Hotels: You should tip the bell boy 1 Euro a bag and the maid 1 Euro a day if staying for a few days.
