Tipping in Vietnam isn’t very straight forward and can be confusing to some. Vietnam is becoming more and more traveled and more of a place to see. The country is home of amazing beaches, crazy jungles and beautiful landscapes, so its no wonder people are traveling to Vientnam more. Wages are very low in Vietnam and everything is very cheap. Tipping has also started to become a bit more common as people travel. However, tipping should never be expected and should only be given for excellent service. Tipping In Algeria goes a long way when exploring the diverse country. Algeria is home of ancient ruins and holds a great portion of the Sahara desert. While traveling should be done with caution it still is a lovely country to see and explore. Since the wages are so low tipping is appreciated in Algeria. Tipping in Portugal is very common, more common then most places in Europe. It isn’t a surprise though, as Portugal offers great landscapes, amazing beaches and friendly people. It is definitely a country to visit, the city of Lisbon is beautiful and the Algarve coast is jaw dropping. Use our tipping guide below to figure out when you should tip and when you shouldn’t.    Taxis: Tipping is common for taxi drivers. Its safe to round up to the nearest 5 Euro on your total fare.    Hotels: If the bell boy was to bring your baggage then you should give him 1-2 Euro per bag. If house keeping goes beyond expectations then a few Euro is warranted at the end of the stay.    Restaurants: 10% should be added to the bill in the more tourist areas. Otherwise a few Euro will go along way.
