Tipping In Ukraine

Tipping in Ukraine is becoming more common as more and more make it a travel destination. It has amazing scenery and friendly people and can really feel like a home away from home. Use our tipping guide below when traveling around Kiev or any of the other beautiful cities in Ukraine!    Taxis: Tipping is not expected, but rounding up to the nearest whole amount goes a long way and makes things easier.    Hotels: Service charge is often included so please check your hotel bills. If it is then there is no reason to tip, otherwise a small amount is fine for exceptional service.    Restaurants: In the nicer restaurants tipping is very common. You should check your bill and make sure service isn’t included. If it isn’t then a 10-15% is warranted based on the service you received.    Bars: You are not expected to tip at bars. If you do receive service at the table then a 5% tip is enough.    Other: Tipping in Ukraine is becoming more common as westerners travel. Tipping In Ireland

Tipping in Ireland isn’t common so sit back and relax around Dublin and enjoy a Guinness beer! Ireland has some great landscapes and is really a must see country. Make sure you rent a car and experience everything Ireland has to offer. Ireland can be expensive, but it doesn’t have to be! Make sure you know when to tip and where using our tipping guide below.    Taxis: Not expected, but it is standard now to round up to the nearest Euro.    Hotels: No tips are expected. If the bell boy brings your bags up then 1-2 Euro per bag may be expected. We haven’t seen a hotel offer this though.    Restaurants: Tipping in restaurants is starting to become more common. Don’t feel the need to tip but if you enjoy a long chat with someone behind the bar then buying them a drink won’t hurt!    Other: Ireland is a very friendly country with some great beer. Tipping in Venezuela is somewhat common, in fact the whole money situation in Venezuela can be tricky. Besides the currency complications it is still a beautiful place to visit. Tipping in Thailand isn’t traditional or common, in fact is known as the land of smiles! Even though Thailand isn’t a traditional tipping country, tipping does go a long way due to the low wages. Even a dollar can be half a days wage for a Thai. So if you have a $1 or $2 to spare then a tip can go a long way and bring lots of smiles.
