Hotels: Tipping the bell boy and maid in Kenya is pretty common. You should tip around 100-200KES to the bell boy and 500 KES for the week to the maid.
Restaurants: Tipping waiters in Kenya is common, you should aim to tip around 10% of the bill.
Bars: Like restaurants, tipping bar tenders in Kenya is also common. You should tip 30 – 50 KES per round or 10% of the total bill.
Other: If you are taking a safari in Keyna be prepared to tip. You should tip the guide 500 KES per person per day and the driver about half that amount.
